Rockin' Out to... NPR?

That is not a typo.   Via the wonderful forum that is Facebook, I came across a playlist on the NPR website.   Titled "The Songs of Summer," it includes 50 songs released between 1962 and 2012.  It's streaming, no downloading required, and best of all, no ads!

I recognized almost all of the songs, and for those that were released during my lifetime, I remember what I was doing when I listened to them.   The list even includes Sir Mix-A-Lot's Baby Got Back, which of course, makes me think of Rishi and Winter Formal.   In addition to being generally awesome, these songs are a great way to make the hours go by faster at work.   And when you work 10 hours at a computer every day, that is a good thing
